Richard Cassaro - The Triptych Enigma, Gothic Cathedrals & Freemasonry
November 18, 2012
Journalist, speaker and Freemason Richard Cassaro is the author of "Written In Stone: Decoding The Secret Masonic Religion Hidden In Gothic Cathedrals And World Architecture." The book uncovers a lost wisdom tradition that was practiced globally in antiquity, found memorialized in pyramids, triptychs, and identical images worldwide. The central tenets of this tradition have been perpetuated in western "secret societies." The most visible of these is the so-called "Masonic fraternity," which according to Richard is an age-old order whose ranks have included Europe's gothic cathedral builders and America's founding fathers. We’ll discuss "the triptych enigma," something Richard has found evidence for around the world. What does this architectural secret symbolize? In the second hour we discuss Freemasonry today vs. in the ancient days and the significant differences between operative and speculative Freemasonry. Is there a conspiracy in the upper ranks of the Scottish Rite? We also cover Lucifer worship and the speculation that Masonry has been infiltrated by Luciferians. Later, we talk about a second renaissance, seeking true knowledge and the internal quest. Richard also talks about the hijacking of spirituality and the significance of one fulfilling their destiny and following their dreams.

Second hour was disappointing
I became a member because the hype about the second hour. Nothing promised was mentioned. The guest was sincere but had limited info about freemasonry.

I didn't get a feeling that he was saying we 'shouldn't' go to certain areas, but that he personally is just not interested. He's not setting himself as a guru, so no need to reject him as one.

I am disappointed he didn't know what Henry was on about with the Lucifer question.
Hearing that he hasn't gone to 32nd degree etc. shows that he's kind of judged the Freemasonry book by it's cover a bit too, since the lower degrees are like a kindergarten level.

Yes hmmmm I agree that we should read and discover anything, anywhere we feel we must. No-one should say that we shouldn't go to places we personally feel are important. I think that everything is relevant and has its place but we are all suffering from a personal bias. Myself included ;) As to why alternative researchers get like this I don't have an answer but perhaps we like to think that we know a lot when actually we are essentially in the dark. I don't think being right is whats important. I'd prefer to address the content and expand on it together. Thanks for pointing me towards Stan Tenen's work. Very fascinating! I'll look further into it when I have the time on my hands.
And I agree that there are a lot of poor quality attitudes have developed and a huge amount of "sewer" to pass through as a result but don't let it get you down it's all part of the journey and we are, hopefully, learning and growing. So back to the Tryptich..... what are your feelings about it beyond Richards interpretation?

hey fab
I'm the one who wrote the long winded shpeel of derision.

Yes, trinities and the triptych is also found in the structures of Kabbalah for example. But Richard says you shouldn't look into that and more or less considers it worthless it seems. He also says you shouldn't read scripture and loves to say how he is "so far beyond that." Why does this exclusive know-it-all syndrome have to infect so many alternative researchers? That's all I want to know. Please tell me why people get like this. It isn't just Richard, it's a lot of people that do this and it is driving me absolutely nuts having to sit through it just to find those "gems" you mention. Yea there's a few gems in there, but that doesn't mean I'm suddenly not allowed to talk about the sewer I went through to get to them.

Check out the work of Stan Tenen at the meru foundation. It is fascinating what he has discovered about the Bible, Hebrew and specifically genesis. Incredible work. Oh... but you shouldn't read that, remember? Richard says it's worthless and that all the wires are got crossed, right? lol.... christ

Are we not here to understand or at least pick up on a trail and run with it ourselves? I feel Richards heart is in the right place. Long winded shpeels of derision are of little value. Try not to be offended and look for the gems instead :) Personally I have been seeing this Triptych literally everywhere in architecture and even in sports and making a lot of connections myself trying to figure out what it maybe. I have seen a Buddhist temple in South Korea that specifically uses the Triptych to have the sun, at winter solstice, illuminate the third eye of a giant statue of Buddha. Can we perhaps discuss what the Triptych might be? Is it connected, in a practical sense, to building acoustics? Thoughts anybody?

Nice! Looking forward to the follow up interview. Loved the intermission track. Haven't heard that one in many years.

Good overall - however
This is yet another promoter of the wrong notion that the spirit does not need a spiritual guide.
Look, here's an example. Your plane crashes in the Jungle. The natives find you and take you to their home. Some want to you stay and believe you are home. Some want to eat you. Some say they know where your home is. You go with one, he takes you over the hill and it doesn't seem right. You try another and you go in another direction over a couple of hills and it still doesn't seem right. You think you can do it on your own and wander around and manage to find your way back to the village. Your next door neighbor, back in the world, who works for Search and Rescue get in a copter, find you pick you up and brings you home. Are all the paths the same? This world is near the bottom of the creation, it's almost pitch black here. You have never and will never traverse the deceptions and get to the purely spiritual by yourself.

I resonate with "hmmm"' 's reaction to Mr. Cassaro. He comes across as fawning and sycophantic, which made me feel a bit queasy.

Awake Man
How wonderful to finally have a speaker talk of the 'divinity within' as the true religion which has been lost in the quagmire of modern religions. We need no other belief to lift us out of the chaos and confusion of the modern world. Thanks Red Ice for allowing the truth to have a world wide audience without the need for gurus or spiritual teachers. Awake to the 'God within' fellow mankind and set yourself Free!
